Dayum~
So, with branches hanging low, it was time to trim our large, old, oak trees in the front yard. Today and the other day, I've been doing such with my bare hands. Naturally, with most, it's simply the case of getting the smaller branches ripped off, to lessen the weight and let it go up all natural like. A few required a little extra effort, and now I'm on this last branch that's most stubborn than a- Well, best not continue that analogy.
The hardest part was this dogwood, which has really strong and resistant branches. It took a bit of sawing and twisting to get that one off. At least the perfume from the bark smelled really nice.
Laptop's been dead for a while, and I'll be picking it up on Saturday. Though I'll probably not be allowed to use that for internet stuff. So I'm getting another laptop solely for that purpose, and using my new MyBook 120GB external Hardrive to keep everything backed up and together, to constantly switch between the two with a huge credit increase on one of my cards, it'll be easy to get something nice off somewhere.
I've also been offered a job as a graphic artist by the partner of the computer repair store I went to. Showed the guy my deviantArt page, he said that the work on the Masquerade Kajsa picture was really smooth, and said that as long as I was willing to learn to do stuff on Paintshop Pro, I'll have a chance.
So I'll be one step closer to having a real life.
Speaking of life... Cosplay life! I'll be going to Otakon, and will definitely have the following cosplays:
Dr Nii (Saiyuki)
Terazuma (Yami no Matsuei - New years Arc)
I'll see what I can do about a third cosplay, but it's not guaranteed. A shame too, because I've been itching to show off my newest Muraki wig.
