Fell asleep during the Hull-Liverpool match, was watching it while waiting for ManUtd-Spurs match which airs right after it, and hoping Liverpool lose.
Alas, Pool wins but it's ok, as long as ManUtd continue winning...
As I was saying, I fell asleep, and when I woke up, it was half-time at Old Trafford.
The score was ManUtd 0 Tottenham 2.
WTG!? I cursed and went to sleep proper in bed.
This morning, wake up and turned to Teletext expecting to see the phrase "Manchester United's hopes for a third consecutive title were dealt a severe blow".
INSTEAD I read "Manchester United received a MASSIVE BOOST in retaining their English crown after a 5 (READ, FIVE) -2 win against Tottenham Hotspurs"
