Moscow

but yeas. we left st. petersburg a couple days ago for a place called schoff, where we visited a lot of Pushkin places and fortresses and monastaries and whatnot. lots of wearing a headscarf. then we took the overnight train from schoff to moscow, where i am now. its not as pretty as st. petersburg, but still gorgeous. oh, and something you'll all be interested in... the night before we left scoff (2 nights ago i think) there was a disco at the hotel and so we all went. it was so different from our kind of dancing. lots of techno, though we got some american songs too after we asked the dj. and they just dance differently... like their slow dancing is more like waltzing without the waltz. but yea. it was fun... i danced the entire time, but this country apparently doesnt believe in AC so it was really hot. and i got asked to dance both slow songs so that was interesting. after that we had a big 4th of july celebration with all of the russians and sang songs and lit off sparklers. lots of fun and a great way to end the night. im already rooming with my host sister Masha. shes really nice and speaks french as welll as a tiny bit of english so its all good. well i gotta go so ttyl.

btw- we leave for Rustov tomorrow morning!
