Friday!
Anyways, here we go on another Friday, another day before I turn 23. The guys are planning on doing something tonight before I come back home. I'm not sure what but I'm sure it'll be an interesting night. Feels great though, I'm friends with my coworkers and actually accepted as part of the group. I probably should have posted about my lateral promotion awhile ago but here we go with the brief history. During the end of 3rd quarter 2005, I switched over to a weekend shift that worked 10 hour days from Saturday - Tuesday. That was an odd schedule which kept me from getting the spotlight I needed.I flourished in the position, gained alot of respect and was able to move over to the Specialty Desk so that I can support District Managers, Regional Managers, Medical Affairs, and IHM professionals. It wasn't a pay raise but it got me into a more prominent position that also has some nicer hours.
We recently took on two new people on our night shift to replace two people that had moved on to other positions within the company. Rumor has it that Ms. Sandy will be joining us to fill out last night position on the specialty desk, she's awesome and very good at talking with our client. She will be an excellent addition to the team with her extensive knowledge about samples and sample compliance.
So, what's going on in my life now? Brandi, Brianna, and I will be going on vacation on the 22nd. We're going to Bugs Island again this year with her family and some family friends. Should be awesome. Middle of nowhere, no one calling me every five minutes, a pool, jet skis, boats, and a long road to drive on. Well, I need to get going and finish getting ready for work. Oh and to answer someone's question about whether or not people listen to their audio posts, I do believe when Brandi and I find time to read livejournal, we do listen to those strange little buttons on the screen.
