Ah yes...I haven't been on the computer, at least not really, since the last time I updated :( I went on now and again to do some embroideries and that was it. Weird.
So, from my last entry, the Behemoth concert was excellent as usual, too bad they were the openers though. We left during Nile, before our free validation expired. Daniel and I sat where we usually sit, upstairs on the stools. Below us sat the VIP section. Behemoth played a great show, the crowd got very into it as usual, and Nergal even wore his special outfit (even if only for the last song). Honestly, it looks a bit goofy in person. :o) I'm always on the look out for a "Where's Nergal?" sighting, and he was right below us in the VIP section. We are big fans and always greet each other sometime during the show. And this time Nergal spotted us first, came up, and said hi. I felt special :) Later on I got another we saw him again and talked for a bit, and I got a pic with him, like I always do. I'm such a fan girl sometimes...
Yay for Poland I also went to see Star Wars the day after it opened at Downtown Disney. We went at 12noon so as not to catch the kids that go and make noise. But they somehow managed to be there during school hours! The movie was very very good. A must see. I was getting choked up when the Jedi's were getting killed from Order 66. :(
Ahh, and I since my last update, I have been working out every other day. Half an hour cardio (bellydance vid) and half and hour abs dvd. I can already see my stomach getting tighter. Such a great thing. I have the cutest bathing suit to wear this year.
And then some other stuff happened that I can't really remember. Oh wait, I sewed some things. I made a skirt that is absolutely adorable, and its fits me great. It's a shaped yoke with gathered skirt in voile. It has 3 layers. The outer fabric was from my mom, she got it sometime in the 80's and has had it ever since. It's so pretty, lace + pleats and all. I put lace detail on the yoke to match the skirted part. It's poofy. When I tried it on Daniel was trying to flatten me out :o) That when I said, Nooooo! It's supposed to be like that :) It's my little loli skirt for the summer. Now to make one in black :)
I have been struggling with deciding which button to use for quite a few days now. I got a cell phone key chain with sparkly bits on it to wear with the skirt, and wanted a button to match. The charm thing has pearly creamy beads and clear shiny beads. I need to get the pics to help me decide.
Ok, I can't choose between the buttons, help me decide! ^_^
Button 1 is a rounded pearly white color.
*Not an exact match with the charm but it is pretty, I love fat buttons! They are so lovely*
Button 2 if a rounded pearly cream color.
*I like how this matches the beading on the charm, but not how when combined give the skirt more cream than white*
Button 3 is a rounded clear spiral, with a silver bead center.
*I like how this matches the charm and keeps the skirt "white" and not cream. I am leaning towards this one*
Button 4 is a flat white button.
*I made the button hole for this size, it's cute but I think is too plain*
I went to Margarita Monday with the boyf and 2 of our friends. It was fun, I got a little tipsy :P hehe, yay!
