Name: Josh Foley
Birthday: No idea!
Age: 16
Height: 5'9''
Weight: 157 lbs/ 71 kg
Eyes: Gold!
Hair: Golden blond!
Medical Info: Is freakishly healthy! Josh can heal himself as well as others, but due to his powers he has a very unique physiology which makes him basically untreatable by other people. They never really go into detail about all the ways that he's different but I think it can be surmised that his body is in a constant state of flux that greatly affects his homeostatic mechanism. How? I don't really know.
He still has to be "aware" in order to treat himself and on several occasions Josh has been successfully roused into consciousness in order to do so, even after receiving mortal injuries. But when Josh overexerts himself his body shuts itself down into a sort of "medical coma". It's been said that when Josh is in this state his body is rebooting itself all the way down to his DNA. The exact length of time Josh spends in this coma varies.
Physical Traits: Has gold skin! And not in the Mystic Tan sort of way. In Josh's default "Healer" mode he has metallic gold skin (think Shirley Eaton in Goldfinger), which is either a secondary mutation or a physical manifestation of Josh's desire to "be the Golden Boy" which occurred after the first time he had to heal himself after being seriously injured. However, whenever Josh uses his powers to harm or kill someone his body turns a metallic lead-like black (his "Death" form). As near as I can tell his skin in either form isn't actually made out of metal but is instead just a superficial appearance. All that aside, Josh is just your average pretty boy!
What's Okay To Mention Around Him: Anything! Josh is a Marvel kid and they were made to be broken.
Abilities: Is an Omega-level mutant with powers of biological manipulation (biokinesis). In his gold form Josh typically manifests his ability by healing people like repairing any sort of physical damage to the body, and is even capable of inducing sedation in people, removing drugs from a person's system, and curing people of viruses (like the Legacy virus, a very nasty plague that targets mutants). He can even monitor someone's vitals or diagnose a medical issue simply by touching them. Because Josh is an Omega-level mutant (read: godmode) his powers have unlimited potential, meaning he is theoretically capable of rewriting a person's genetic structure, which means he could manipulate or implant physical characteristics, and even activate dormant or atavistic genes.
In his lead form, Josh has demonstrated the ability to induce injuries or illnesses in other people which has sometimes led to immediate death. In one such instance that Josh used his lead form, he was able to give someone an untreatable brain tumor and even demonstrated his level of control of biological manipulation by forming the tumor in the shape of the X-Men logo. He, of course, later successfully removed the tumor with no ill effects to the afflicted party.
Also: Josh's powers only work on organic matter. Non-organic and technorganic are both no-goes.
Notes for the Psychics: Oh god- Josh is a pretty messed up kid. He's not really as angry as he used to be, but there's definitely a swirling vortex of guilt and depression deep in his heart. He has survivor's guilt and I imagine some PTSD, and a lot of his sense of purpose is tied up in his need to help people and save his friends. And there's also the bit where he's used his powers to kill someone, which while I don't think he really regrets doing it, it really messed him up (and it was the first time his Lead form manifested). Josh genuinely dislikes using his powers to hurt people, so much so he actually hates that part of himself leading to a lot of internal conflict and self-recrimination. He also has a number of abandonment issues seeing as his parents surrendered all custody of him the moment his powers manifested and told him to never contact them again, and he hasn't seen (and possibly spoken to) the women who became his legal guardian and only family since she left the Xavier Institute after M-Day happened. And while he's really come into himself since joining the X-Men, Josh is in some ways still the insecure kid who really wants to be liked by people. But at heart, Josh is a nice kid who really likes helping people and fully believes in doing good for the sake of doing good.
Also, there's this bit where Josh apparently knows something about Hope Summers and what she really is. It's never been said or even alluded to since X-Force #18, but apparently it's pretty big and only Josh seems to know what it is. But since I don't know what that is (although I bet it has something to do with the Phoenix force) just assume there's this bit of information in Josh's head that has a big censor bar over it and nothing and no one can remove it to reveal the information underneath it.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Sure, just contact me and we can set something up!
Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: YES. Yes, you can.
Maim/Murder/Death: Go for it! It's happened to him plenty of times and since he can heal himself he'll bounce right back. Probably.
Cooking: Nnnnnot really, no but I figure his current situation of living with the X-Force team has prompted Josh to really learn how to fend for himself in many ways.
Other: Is from Queens, New York! So I figure he has a slight accent but nothing I'm going to be typing out.
