Currently pulling what I consider the other, other, other Altman maneuver, the first three being playing all your 2s early in Chinese poker, that trick for getting generators of unit groups of Z_p, and jumping under a low ceiling with the tubular portion of a giant coke-bottle attached to your head

What's the trick with Z_p?

The Z_p trick was to take a generator and raise it to powers that were relatively prime to phi(p) to get the other generators. This is not to say that Altman invented said maneuver, but that was what we called it when we were first-years.
