Well it's been a while, so time for an update-a-roney I suppose.
Lesse.. I got a new laptop that I'm still adjusting to and not entirely sure how much I like it, but it's with the times so I guess I can't complain. Now I just have to marry the hard drives from my two old ones onto this one. Should be exciting.
Checked my position on the waitlist for nursing, I'm between 60-80 on the list. So, I'm not super enthusiastic about that. Which means I'm going to need a plan B for fall I guess. :(
I had it all figured out. Well, a lot can happen in four months so I shall just have to wait and see.
Did my first week at the Apple stand, which was AMAZING despite the fact I spent one day totally drenched and the other freezing because it was SNOWING! WTF. Start week two there soon and I have really great hopes for it over the summer.
Have two doula clients for the summer which means I should be able to be certified by my birthday.
Starting apartment hunting. Julio has to move late summer/early fall, so it begins now. He really wants me to move into that apartment, but I hate it. I hate it with such a firey passion. It's just moldy and gross. Ick. I want a nice new shiny apartment. So far some decent leads, but again I shall have to wait and see. Other than that things with him have been going well. We've taken to having our serious arguments while walking around. You have to stay calm and not yell. It's kinda neat. We don't argue nearly as much as we used to either, which is nice. :P
This weekend is Keg Day and I'm super stoked. I love love the cottage and any excuse to get out there. But big drinking is always fun.
Have a doula meeting today, still figuing out what I'm going to cover... then a Pagan meet and greet tonight. Should be fun. Pagans are neato. Can't go to KG, Mike's wedding is that weekend. So boo no KG, but yaa weddings. I really wanna go to Wonderland the day before too! :P
