It's looking like it's going to be another lovely Saturday of spring.
I'm debating wearing a dress. *gasp*!
Yesterday I went mental with baking and made a chocolate guiness cake. It looked so good I made another one. i've been on a big baking/cooking thing lately. Just something nice about working with your hands, you know?
I'm trying to cook around here more than going out. Because I definately go out to eat every single day. Bad bad bad.
My job at the Ob is ending this week and while I have my rent, and my bills covered ( I put $20 onto everything every paycheck so it's never too bad when they come). I'm not exactly rolling in it. PArt of me is like.. boh, I like it when I have money. The other part remembers being poor, and while it sucked there was something neat about it. You had to work harder for stuff. I don't know.
I'm about to clean out my savings on half a laptop. My mom's gonna buy one from the school and they take like $50 a month from her paychecks. Which is very cool of her as this laptop is getting on in its years.
Other than that my big expenses for the summer are going to be KG, which is like $80 just for ticket and Drivers Ed, which I'm discovering is almost $1000! Which is total bullshit. But I really want my mom's car so I'll have to do it. And I want to have my liscence as soon as possible, so I'll have to do it. :P
I am trying to get my shit together, slowly if not surely. Although admittedly I haven't been reading any books, I'm stuck on the Womanly art of breastfeeding. It is interesting, but it's just on one topic. Boobs. So it's not AS good. I'm rather afraid of the Labor Progress handbook though, it looks rather medical and technical. I will get to it though.
Today I'm going to make some breakfast, buy a fish, a cake pan and go to my boss' b-day party.
Who knows what the night shall bring.
