Arlington is the past

alright you sons of bitches, i've gotta make this quick since i need to go scam some books for classes here in a sec. life has been way too busy lately, somehow i think its a good thing in the end since i'm too preoccupied to worry or feel like shit.

i'm officially a dallas resident now, totally moved into my new apartment just east of downtown. everything is still in boxes, bags, or just in complete shambles...all i've unpacked is my soap/shampoo and my alarm clock. i'm sure i'll spend saturday afternoon unpacking, however the first thing i'm setting up is the stereo so i can rock out my new neighbors while finding whatever i can to throw off the balcony, i mean i gotta at least christen the new joint right. so yeah, i live seriously five minutes from deep ellum, five minutes from lower greenville, walking distance to whiterock lake...none of you kids have any excuse not to visit me and rock my world. oh yeah, for all you veggie/vegan dudes, there's a whole foods market 5 minutes away too...so if you're bringing food over, always bring enough to share, haha.

monday was craptastical with my moving delight. i get up all super earlyass so i can pack the jeep (yeah i'm rockin' the jeep for now, chicks dig it) and say goodbye to my kinfolk then i head over to the new apartment to unload. oh wait, the mofo's didn't even have it ready like they said they would...they didn't have it finished till 6pm, the place was just torn the hell apart and i got to wait and twiddle my thumbs until they finished. i thought about burning the place down (you'll see the irony in a second). so then i try to get a u-haul truck that day...no lickity luck on that either. so i have to make a billion trips via jeep, and i held rodrigo at gunpoint to get him to help me with my computer desk since that beast is a bit to handle with one set of hands. as i'm leaving my arlington apartment, all these firetrucks come zooming in because it turns out one of the apartments caught on fire and people were all running around outside madhouse style. then we drive back to the dallas apt and I-30 going east is shut off...the entire highway so i called it a night after that. finished moving in last night at 5am...no sleep rules!! or to rip on a beastie boys song, NO SLEEP TILL DALLAS!! dun dun dun.

the new lamb of god cd is pretty killer, its all i've been playing in my jeep lately besides madball's "look my way" album. but my attitude has been pretty metal lately, so raise your horns!
