Reading Goals and It's Hot as Hell!

That picture pretty much describes the current weather here in the UK, not exactly the rainy, damp country we are portraid as is it! It's currently 27 degrees C which is about 80 degrees F apparently according to a temp converter. Now I know that isn't massivly hot but for us here thats quite bad lol. Elseware in the country its apparently 38 degrees which is apparently the hottest it has ever been in the UK in July so I shouldn't really complain! I have definitly decided I'm a cold weather person, I think its so much easier to warm yourself up than cool down. Basically, I'm a bit of wimp when it comes to the heat! To remedy this we have a clean fan in everyroom and I have just brought a large quantity of freezepops and, thanks to ashmedai, the ingredients to make my own healthy lollys using various fruits and yoghurts. Im making Blueberry and lemon, strawberry and vanilla, watermelon and kiwi and banana and nutella. Not sure about the last one but I thought I would give it a go.

Im planning on having a bit of a reading session now, something that I've been doing rather a lot of recently which is great. I've always been an avid reader but in recent years I've let it slip a alittle. To remedy this Ive set myself a goal of reading 30 books by the end of the year (was going to go for 50 but after reviewing what I had read so far, I think that would have been a tad optimistic!). I'm gonna use my journal to chronicle this so if you see a random list of books at the end of a random post each month then thats why it's there. Im adding a rating showing how much I enjoyed it and the rough date I read it too just for fun. Also a lot are young adult novels as thats the genre I'm thinking of writing maybe so I see it as research. So far I have read;

1) The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - Jan 2015 - 9/10
2) Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins - Jan/Feb 2015 - 9/10
3) Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins - Feb 2015 - 8/10
