Goodbye to you?

I'm considering end the love affair with livejournal.  For a time it was a great resource for my thoughts and emotions.  It was also a very convient way to connect with people.   However it seems to me most people have moved to either Facebook (yay!) or Myspace (boo).  I've found that Facebook has a wide array of well thought of features that could completely replace LJ for me.  Plus, I can't think of anyone I know who updates LJ but not Facebook, thus making my intarweb life easier.  Oddly enough just today i was going through my LJ archive and reading some old posts of mine.  I think that's always interesting.
