I often find myself watching my cat. As I'm sure every pet owner has done at some point I think "I wish I where a cat/dog. They just eat and sleep all day". But as tempting a thought as that is sometimes, I'm glad I'm a human. I'm sure to a cat, sleeping all day and playing with a little jingling ball is awesome. And I'm sure if I was a cat I would enjoy it just as much. But humans get to enjoy things no animal can ever experience. No cat has ever willingly jumped out of an aircraft for the thrill of it. A dog can't feel the incredible rush of driving a car at full tilt. A million things that I take for granted everyday, an animal can never experience like I can. From making the perfect sandwich, to watching a really good movie. Despite all of the hardships that come with it, even though somedays I may say other wise, I'm glad I've lived this life. Even though as I sit and type this my life is about to be turned upside down again, and even though I'm plagued by injuries and pains for someone ten years older than me, I'm sitting here content. Happy with the way my life has turned out. And it's a great place to be.
