Well, so I lost my job at the YMCA. Not that I'm surprised, really, I expected it when I got suspended a week and a half ago. But honestly? Tell me how much sense this makes. They fired for me a no call, no show, except that I CALLED IN!!!! They told me that because I couldn't find anyone to cover the shift, it was my responsibility....so I guess

*hugs* That really sucks. Something like that happened when I lost my last job, right down to my managers looking for excuses and firing illegally. Ugh, people are such assholes. But yay on the potential Golden Corral job!

Did I tell you about how my s.o. got fired over a dress code violation, and then was banned from the premises? As in, they could call the cops and get Dragon arrested. And that I start getting panic attacks whenever I even see my previous workplace because of how my boss treated me? ...yeah.

Companies right now really don't give a bent penny about their employees. It'll take them maybe a week to replace anyone they fire or lay off, so they pull stupid shit like this. And in the mean time, us employees just get screwed.

I hope your new opportunity is just that much better though! ♥!

It's kinda hard to update my Facebook with anything interesting when nothing's really changed. Still out of work, still in an unpleasant living situation, and I still seem to have some nasty block on my creativity. >>;; And I'd hate to be everyone's depressive friend, you know?
