School is beating me like the red-headed stepchild
So school is really intense right now... it's punishment for having fun on spring break no doubt.
It seems like I've been in the library relentlessly so far this week, and it's only Tuesday. (Tuesday's coming... did you bring your coat? I live in a giant bucket!) Calculus needed immediate attention, as did research for my essay due next week as well as reading for all of my other classes. The good thing is that the book I have to research for my essay (on modern-day Soninke Labor Migration out of West Africa) is really interesting to me because it combines a lot of economics with African history. Right up my ally, non?
The car is in the shop... again. And apparently it's on it's best behavior for the mechanics b/c they can't get it to have the problem it seems to give to me at least once a day. What a jalopy.
Oh and JoAnne is coming in town this weekend! That's exciting, it's always fun to have the mothership come and visit... the husband is coming with her this time, but he should be fun, he's pretty okay overall. Hopefully I will be taken to Bluepointe to eat... I've wanted to go for awhile and now that mom is in town, this may actually come to fruition. Hooray.
