so i think this is my last entry ever. i haven't even thought to post in here for a while. but you know... i had a good run. i meant to keep this thing going until i graduate but... what are ya gonna do? i'm a senior, at least i made it till my last year. i'm gonna save this journal and print it out and read it later when i'm 35 or something since i've started this blog:
gas prices have risen about $1.50/gal
ipods went from being offered in 20 or 40 GB to being offered in 80 or 160 GB- slimmer, and with color screens and now they're $50 cheaper
i began this blog and there was a war in iraq- a 'mission accomplished' speech, $1.50 rise in gas prices, 2935 soldiers' lives later... were still there
hybrid cars were offered in the honda insight and toyota prius, not just about any mid-sized car comes with the option of being hybrid. even some suvs.
on a personal note...
i got a girlfriend, had her for about a year, broke up with her. now i'm onto my second of my college career.
went from living in a tiny-ass dorm with DC, then with Eric to living in a huge-ass apartment with eric and kevin.
went from being worried about not knowing what i'm going to do with the rest of my life to not being worried about not knowing what i'm going to do for the rest of my life
i've had a concussion and a broken wrist
made some friends and memories that (hopefully) will last a lifetime.
nothing big has changed really. bush is still incompetent. our national deficit is still out of control. health care system still sucks. the earth is still warming up. were still using just as much oil.
but on a positive note, if everything goes according to plan i should be joining the peace corps after i graduate (i hope by writing this i'm not jinxing myself). when i come back, maybe i'll get a job, maybe i'll go to grad school... we'll see. welp, it's been a good journal. i had fun, hope you did too. peace and pleasure.
