It's really jarring sometimes to see long-forgotten friend-posts come alive with tweets. I must be one of the few that isn't dialed in to this whole Twitter stuff...I mean, I only use it every once in a while, and usually only if I see something interesting when I'm out and about.

So in a non-Seinfeld manner, what's the deal with Twitter? Seem to be a bunch of tweetheads all around me. I get the feeling I missed the Next Big Thing of microblogging. As always, the Drew is behind the curve. :P

In life-related news, it's been a bunch of random; the recent thunderstorm prompted my first (impromptu) Youtube submission and thankfully broke the mini-heat wave that's made the house nigh-unlivable. (Of course, it doesn't help that my 8800GTS doubles as a space heater; I've had to take off the side panel of my case and point a box fan at the damn thing lately.)

Been playing a little less WoW, a little more Dawn of War 2...it's shiny and RTSy in a very micro sort of way - not usually my style. But it's grim and dark and has my ork boyz. (Waaaagh. Waaaagh never changes.) I should probably be playing more WoW; I don't want to lose my healing edge.

I'll be 24 soon, and I've made some definite progress, especially mentally.

On a side note, I've kinda let myself slip as far as OLR's concerned...I need to get back in, stay back in, and stay involved. I'm not about to succumb to hypocrisy. (Though my grumblings these days are rare, and the phrasing is intentionally cryptic.)

Anywho, deliberately depriving oneself of sleep in order to reestablish a "normal" schedule...is hell. I was up about...30 or so hours and finally dropped off around 10 last night (after catching Burn Notice). It's so strange getting up with the sun. I prefer my late night/early morning time, when the house is dark and quiet, but I suppose I can adjust.

I mean, I'm going to have to. Not being a morning person is not an excuse anymore.

Eh. I'm rambling as I so often do, and I'm hungry. More thoughts, another day.
