Today was one of those days that was just too weird for words.
Got up for lit class as usual, finished watching and discussing "Metropolis", and prepped for my midterm and associated paper. (Blargh to structured papers!) Spent the next couple of hours wandering around the cafeteria, not doing or thinking much of anything. Got picked up early to look at laptops at Fry's.
Laptops. Buh?
Apparently my mother has decided that I could use a laptop. I've no doubt that there are other forces at work, but hey...at least I'm getting a laptop.
Other than that little surprising tidbit, not much happened today. I've been drowsy all day despite getting in a good six hours last night...so I think I'll turn in soon. I've spent most of the night just...sitting with some music and waiting for the girlfriend. Starting to worry a little now, but there's nothing I can do about it.
Today...just seems like a strange dream. I don't think I was fully awake at all.
Afterthought: I've been considering trimming my friends list. Getting rid of former mutuals and such...but I'm either too lazy or too hopeful that I'll get re-friended. That, and it's not really a big deal. The people I have friended...I trust enough with my more private thoughts. That hasn't changed...so I guess I'll leave things as is.
