Today was definitely a "let's meet new people" day.
First: Misty. Misty is pretty damn cool - most FMA fangirls are, after all. She harbors the same disdain for pairings that I do ("I think I just vurped a little") and let out an enormous squee when I mentioned my Hughes mood icons.
The discussion about clubbing makes me want to bum a ride and join in. :P
Usual banter at the Table, including a battle of wits (well, puns anyway) between me, Cody and Ken. Trying to beat me at my own game? INCONCIEVABLE.
Afterwards, I went to the dollar store to grab something to drink and met none other than Adrian Lamo, a reporter for the Current (among other things). After a quick display of one-up-manship (my fault, mostly) and a quick "relax. I grok. I'm a geek too", we proceeded to talk about random shit, particularly the Table. I have a feeling that he and Ken would get along great.
Went to CCL and got some ITG (five-foot doubles is within my grasp) and newbie-training done. Got a hell of a workout. If my arms were as buff as my legs right now (minus the BURNING HEAT, hurhur), I'd be set.
MC raid tomorrow, and then some well-deserved chill time.
