When Mandy got the owl from Drew she was extremely worried for him. She knew that the two families were meeting and something must have happened. She ran to her mum and showed her the note and explained to her what was going on. She quickly convinced her mum to let her go to Drew's house. Mandy quickly packed a bag and changed into a nice outfit. She went to the Floo, kissed her mom goodbye and said, "Kirke residence." She stepped out of the Floo and looked around the house, "Andrew are you here?"

Andrew was in the livingroom, flipping through channels on the television. As usual, there was nothing good on but it was a way to shut his brain off.

"That was fast," he said, mostly surprised. But he was happy to see her after so long.

Mandy smiled and ran over to him and gave him a big him. She hadn't seen him in what felt like months but it was only a few weeks. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, "I was worried about you, and I missed you so much."

Drew smiled and nearly blushed at her kiss. Even after all these months she was able to do this to him.

"I miss you too," he said, catching her lips in a kiss.

She smiled and gratefully kissed him back. However she soon remembered his mom was probably here so she stopped. She looked around, "Are we the only ones here?"

"Uh...not exactly," he said, his smile completely disappearing. An almost sick feeling flooded him.

"It's pretty much the opposite."

As if on que, Daphne Greengrass walked down the stairs in an oversized shirt - clearly Terry's - and a pair of leggings. She walked through the big living room.

"Oh, hey Mandy," she said pleasantly, as if normal, and walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water.

Mandy looked confused and gave a quick wave to Daphne. She then looked at Drew with a confused look. Clearly a lot of stuff had happened that she needed catching up on. She grabbed his hand, "Shall we go somewhere more private?"

After they caught up maybe they could do some more "catching up."

"Yeah, let's go to my room," he said, taking her hand. Drew didn't so much mind Daphne strolling around his house - it was the more permanent changes he hated.

He led her upstairs and down the hall. Drew's was the last bedroom on the floor. There were four bedrooms and two bedrooms here. When Drew was younger his dad had designed this house and had it built for them. The bedrooms were in pairs on each side of the hall with a bathroom connecting them. Him and Amanda used to each have their own bathroom and spare bedroom for friends or family. But now the bedroom that was Drew's "extra room" now occupied Terry Boot. Which also meant they shared a bathroom.

Drew's mother, and now Mr. Boot, occupied the entire third floor in the master suite. Drew used to think it was lonely for his mom up there on her own but now he hated the idea that she wasn't so lonely anymore.

"This is my room," he said, opening the door and leading her inside the brightly lit room.

Mandy smiled as she followed him upstairs. His house was very nice and she had a feeling his dad had designed in, just knowing what Drew had told her. When they got to his room she kissed his shoulder and shut his door and leaned against it, "So Andrew, before we get distracted, please catch me up. I hate that you are upset and I want to be here for you. Mum said I could stay as long as I needed. She's got Salem though." She was glad her mum was so understanding, probably because she felt bad making Mandy suffer through that conference.

"Well, you know that Terry and his dad came over for Christmas right?" he asked, already knowing the answer, He pulled her over towards his bed - a comfortable full size bed with a down cozy comforter.

"Well, they never left."

Mandy nodded as she moved over to the bed with him. She sat on her knees as she looked at him in shocked, "Wait they moved in? Like for good? And your mom didn't tell you or your sister?" She held onto his hand and rested her head on his shoulder hoping to comfort him.

"They announced it at dinner," he said grimly. Drew fell back onto his bad, staring up the the ceiling.

"So now Terry and I share my bathroom. And his girlfriend is our prolonged house guest. She's staying in the room attached the Amanda's bathroom across the hall...but of course she sneaks over."

Drew stays up late reading or watching old Superman movies every night. Its easy to know what they're up to.

"But that's not even so bad. She does make a pretty wicked omelet."

Mandy bit her lip, well if they already had Daphne staying over, Mandy surely wouldn't want to impose and stay over. She would most likely head home tonight. She rested her hand on his chest as she looked down at him, "I'm so sorry babe. I really wish there was something I could do." She ran her hand over his chest trying to calm him down. She didn't want to think what she would do in this situation. Then she thought of something, "Do you want to stay at my place until break ends?"

Drew thought about it for a long moment. It was a nice idea.

"I'd love that...but I don't want Terry or his dad to think I hate this as much as I do," he confessed, sighing.

"But you know, you could stay here if you wanted. There is more than enough space...even with the three extra people."

She bit her lip, "Are you sure? I don't what your mom to freak out? I understand if you have enough people here. I'd still like you no matter what," she said with a smirk. While she totally would love to stay here, she really didn't want to be an inconvience. She really just wanted to be with Andrew.

"Trust me, Amanda has so many friends here every weekend my mum will be relieved to have some semi-more mature wizards around," he said, half joking. The girl sleep overs were not something that Drew missed.

"It'll give her an excuse to say no to Amanda and I can take you around town to show you off a bit."
