Ruthless//Something Corporate

Dear Journal,

I'm pretty bitter about the world right now. I was driving home, less than a minute from getting on the highway when a bunch of black kids dropped a ball in the street (I think accidentally?). Who plays football 2 feet from a street? Stupid people. I slammed on my breaks because I didn't want to hit it or have it get stuck under my car. It bounced onto my hood and I freaking out about whether or not it dented my hood. A girl pointed and laughed really meanly. I honked my horn for a while before driving off and half wishing I would have hit the girl instead. But, then my car probably would have been dented. Makes me look like an asshole, but oh well. It ruined my day. Sometimes those little things do it.

I do like the weather, even though I nearly died the first half of the day. I was able to wear my favorite sweater today. I have a blue and green one just like it, so just you wait. Today was beautiful. Just gorgeous. Something Corporate is perfect for today. I'm listening to it now, in fact. I drove with the window down today. I love that but I want to keep my car smelling new.

I got to school about 6:45, worked a few minutes on a practice PSAT until Mrs. Jones got there, I made the screen for the art club teeshirt. Then, I talked with some people for a while. Physics was alright. Karl and I are really confused about what we're doing for the lab, but we'll manage. Took some notes and went over the homework. Ehhh. More homework tonight.

My second class was TOK. I actually stayed awake for the movie! Amazing, I know. We watched the end of What Dreams May Come. It was good but it would have been better if I hadn't nodded off for the middle half. Maybe I'll rent it sometime. We started a composition book assignment in response to it. Also, we talked a bit. Extended Essay stuff. I've already secured Fry for my advisor, so in your face everybody! Well, she can have more than one but I'm sure she'll fill up soon.

In French we did region presentations, which was quite fun. Lots of yummy food, including the strawberry tarts Alex and I made last night. Our presentation was seamless and I think we did a fantastic job. Tomorrow we get to sit back and relax though. Except for that pesky quiz.

English was thoroughly boring because of that crazy video. I do love Anthony Hopkins though. Thank you people who understand Silence of the Lambs jokes about liver and fava beans (Morgan, Austin, et al.). Speaking of which, I'll repost a couple pictures.

is crazier than

They look the same, n'est pas?

Homework: Euro (studying for impending test), Physics (online), Calc (bookwork), TOK (composition book assignment), Art (sketchbook), English (A Doll's House journals). And the obgligatory PSAT studies.

We were supposed to have French Club at lunch. But we didn't. I talked with Tara for a while instead.

I got a new GQ and Pottery Barn catelogue today. That's my favorite. I wonder when I'm going to get my first Details and Cargo? Soon, I hope.

I hate xanga. Which is why my long entry is going here today.

I stayed after school until 4 to make my art club tee-shirt. It was pretty fun.

If you're in art club, you can make one. So, you better join right now! It's not too late.

Be thankful, that entry is really short compared to what I thought I was going to write.

Love,
Drew
