So I definitely believe that it's time for a new job.
This new ownership at Dunkin Donuts is really just too out of control for me.
I have been there for three weeks over winter break every day, and everything seemed fine. Different, but fine. Now I am back in school, and obviously I miss so much during the week because things are just changing so rapidly. I have been there for three years, and now all of a sudden I feel like a new employee. So many different (and ridiculous) rules that I need to follow, and I don't agree with it.
It's just about over, my pouring coffee and serving donuts days. I am changing my lifestyle this semester in terms of staying at school later on Fridays and the motivation to continue to drag my ass out of bed on a Saturday morning at 5 AM is dwindling fast. Then I have to go there and listen to that new bitch order me around and make me follow all sorts of crazy rules? For 8 bucks an hour, I don't think so.
These next few weeks are going to be crucial. If my attitude remains the same in February, I will be searching elsewhere to earn money.
