More Christmas Break-ness
Well it's been a while since I've added Livejournal friends, but I found out that my friend, Stephanie, also has Livejournal. Welcome to my friend's list :)
Anyway, it's Sunday and that equals DAY OFF! Slept til almost 10:30 this morning, which is nice. I now feel like i am ready to tackle Dunkin Donuts all week long.
I spent Wednesday - Saturday morning at my aunt's house, which was a lot of fun. On Wednesday, Brian and I (and his friend Kevin) went to the mall and we bought some stuff, myself a new pair of sneakers and some Gamecube equipment (by the way, I did not get a Wii for Christmas). We met up with Mike and we all went back to Brian's house to have some pizza. Brian was making special plans for the evening, which included inviting all of his friends over to the house to have a "gaming" party. It was him, Scott (and his gf Nicole), Steve, Kevin, David, and Chris...and myself. We all went into the basement with our computers and just spent most of the night down there. They all stayed up until 8 AM playing their computer games or w/e, I went to bed at 1 AM when i grew too tired to play anymore...plus I had DD at 6 AM.
Thursday was sort of boring, I sat around and computed for most of the day. That night, it was just Kevin and Scott with Brian, and we stayed downstairs and did some more computing. I went to bed late again.
Friday I had to dogsit because they all went out to lunch as a family and Sylvie had just gotten spayed on Thursday...which meant she needed some special care. Cliff bought me a pair of nice winter gloves as a reward for always being there to watch the dogs from Sports Barn, where Keith works. That night, when everyone returned, we had a Radcliffe Movie Marathon, which included watching as many movies as we could before we all conked out for the night. We watched all of "Night at the Museum" and we almost made it all the way through "The Simpson's Movie", before Aunt Lauren, Cliff, and myself passed out. Dana and Brian stayed awake, and Keith had left for the night.
I left Saturday morning at 5:30 to go to work, and since I hadn't gotten much sleep those past 3 nights (about 12 hours total), I was just about falling asleep on the car ride to work (uh oh). Luckily I was okay, and I came home yesterday and just napped.
Anyway, as for today, I caught up on all my sleep, and I will probably clean up my room a bit and maybe hook up my gamecube, even though it's nearing the time when i gotta bring it back to school again. We are supposed to get about 5 inches of snow tonight also.
As I am writing this entry, I am glancing over at my bookshelf and realizing that I need to sell a few of my textbooks on eBay, and I gotta get ready to do that soon, since textbook purchasing time is just around the corner.
I also need to call up that guy from HerffJones to order my ring. I was not able to do that when he visited my school earlier in December.
As for this week, I will be going to lunch with my sister tomorrow, probably..and then heading to ACasale's house for New Year's Eve festivities! But I must be at DD on Tuesday morning early, so I will be headed home from there quickly enough. Tuesday I am going to Maritime after work, and staying down there prob until late. Wednesday I am off, probably hanging out with my friend, Dave. Thursday and Friday are free for now, although I would like to go visit Panas one of those days. And then the weekend and back to Maritime again :\. I still have a few friends from home whom I haven't seen yet that I would like to see.
