Today's picture of the day is from
Los Angeles. Synchronicity of emotions on either end of the spectrum. That's the sum of the last few days for me.
I left Montevallo today.
I drove home and listened to the Jimmy Eat World -
Static Prevails CD...the same CD I listened to when I drove to Montevallo to move in for the first time four and a half years ago. That's one of the few things that is the same since I came to college...my love of music.
Yesterday was hard. I packed my car, checked the room over after I took my last load down, and started to walk out for my last time as an active brother. I stopped, turned around, and went to the chapter room.
I just sat there for a while. It's all so hard.
And then I left.
Graduation went well. I was awarded the Dean's Scholar Award, which me and one other person were given for scoring the highest among graduating business majors on the MFT exam. It is an ACT for business majors, of sorts, to measure what you've learned through the duration of the curriculum. I am really proud of myself.
Don't leave without intentions of ever coming back.
