Today's picture of the day is from
India.
A hearse blew my doors off on the way to work this morning. This was odd because well...I mean it's a hearse. It was empty of course. I mean there was a guy driving the thing, but in the generally assumed sense of the term it was empty.
Now really, I'm not sure how I feel about my last car ride on Earth being made in a dual exhaust, silver Cadillac.
Gina and me went to see
Episode III last night. I thought it was very well done. All loose ends tied. All story threads woven together. All awkward love scenes included. To be honest, it was really sad to see the series end. Growing up it has been a sizeable part of my life, having played about every video game they've ever released that related to the story. I even read a few of the books back in middle school. On many levels, me and
Mr. Heaton are on the same page when it comes to our reaction to the film. I never did act any of it out though. :]
Speaking of, next time I'm at Wal-Mart, I'm buying this
ho. It's just
too darn cute not to. Kids game? Yeah, I'm ok with that.
Along the lines of merchandise, I think we should take note of
Darth Tater, the Dark Side persona of Mr. Potato Head.
Nine billion dollars. One potato at a time.
Today's current music is about the commercialization of Christianity. "Wooden Jesus" and "Porcelain Mary" being examples of items created for monetary gain, and not always with the intention of re-investing said profits back into the church. Seen in some areas, I would say. I think we all have a hard time trusting tele-evagelists. "For a donation of $50 to this ministry, you will get this
beautiful, pendant keychain."
