So I was watching Farscape last night and was blown away by John and Aeryn's kiss.  It prompted a conversation between me and Jason about what I think the "hot" sci fi kisses are (I'm sorry...I love Jack and Sam but most of the time they just look like they're trying to eat each other's faces off....).

I wish more of the Stargate kisses had been real honest to goodness actually them kisses though...stupid alien influence/hallucination stuff :(

either that or the writers were afraid that writing anything real would alienate their 15 yo boy following.... :S

Well, ya know, god forbid smart ADULT women should be interested in sci fi...wouldn't want THEM as an audience...you know, people who can actually afford to invest in the franchise and all that....better keep those little boys happy (sorry...I'm a bit bitter *hangs head*)
Yeah..no romantic plot, but gratuitous sex is all good.... Boo :(

UGH...I know...years of not giving us anything more than the occasional alien influenced or hallucinated kiss and then they decide that NOW they need to give us closet sex...and body swapping sex (ick, creepy)...I don't get how they think that THIS makes the show "more mature" (hubby got really angry when I called it "High School Musical on a Spaceship"...but that's more or less what it is imo...)

Seriously...I wanna see a sci fi show written by women...it would be EPIC!

I tried to watch the whole pilot, give it the benefit of the doubt...I couldn't get through it for SO many reasons (the biggest reason being that it was BORING!!!!)

Yes...hubby was the one who introduced me to Stargate in the first place. Of course, there's plenty about SGU that appeals to a 28 year old guy that logically does NOT appeal to a 34 year old woman...

There are so many great female fan fiction writers out there...now if we could just get someone to discover them and get them writing for TV shows we'd be all set!
