My PC is back up and running and I am reinstalling all my games right now. Should be playing again in a few hours. YAY!
EDIT:
So for some reason, none of the neighborhoods from any of the games will show up ingame, but my backups restored the only two hoods I use, which I guess is okay? My backup restored the major stuff, but I lost a bunch of kidlets, so generation 4 of the Salamanders hasn't been born yet. However, I think that both moms are pregnant, so it'll be the same kids....just got to remember the names. If anyone has advice on the absent neighborhoods, drop a line please! I'm scared to play until I figure out what's going on, in case I corrupt something. :(
