A long post for my absence
Well, this is the first update I have made in a long time, I will not make promise of many updates to come, but rather take this with a day by day basis.
So, I will give a general update, I am getting a cell phone later this week, we ordered them and it is Cingular. I have a job in Carmel, as most of you know and as of today, I enjoyed it. I mean, it wasn't any different than the other days really, but I was just happy in general. I have realized that my life is not that sucky, and no matter what I feel like, I probably have friends who are there with me. Speaking of life, there was a relay for it this weekend in which many of you were participants. I think everyone knows it was hot and muggy and sucky, but well, I had fun-ish. I mean, I was glad to be there with all of my friends and such. We all laughed (at me) and cried (at the country music). It was a tough time, and the tensions were high towards the end, but we made it through and I feel like you all are my friends, whether or not that is true.
One thing at relay I did not agree with was the way they shoved God down peoples throats. I personally like christian music, maybe because I was only allowed to listen to it until I went to high school or maybe it is because it comforts me in its own sappy way, but many people christians and non christians alike do not enjoy the same things I do. Additionally the way many people were tricked into staying at the worship service or made to feel guilty for leaving is just plain wrong. I as a very struggling strong christian believe that the way for people to truly witness of the way Christ's love has changed their lives is not to yell at them (as i have done in the past) or force them to follow the rules I myself try to follow. As such I personally apoligize for any of you who were offended by this and and by actions I have taken in the past. They probably do care about you as I did, but it is a truly foolish way of showing love. It would be like at a wedding cerimony instead of you may kiss the bride it would be you may now punch here because of your love.
