Power go Boom!
So what has caused me to come out of my cave and update? A power outage, last night around 8 pm. Rose Hulman shut down. Every year it seems like the power goes out, and it is always interesting to see how engineers react to no electricity. The only lights that are on are the ones powered by our huge backup generators. So everyone convenes in the hallway, especially if the power goes out at night. So the power goes out, but not a huge deal right, well not quite, see this is the last day of classes for the winter term. So like tons of things are due, so since the power is out at the absolute most critical time for us it causes breakdowns. Apparently every coffee shop in terre haute was filled with rose students trying to use their laptops. There was a rumor going around that if the power didn't come on by 5 am then classes would be canceled, so instead of going to bed at like 11 pm, i stayed up until 4. The power came on at 3:15 and i don't think i was ever as sad to see the light. After that I worked on a project that is due today until 4. It was quite the night. I really do enjoy power outages, seeing what the campus is like and how people react is the best part.

1 - I am going to be home which rocks, cause I am tired, so i get to sleep in my own bed again.
