Sunday night
So I wore my new Airwalk sneaks last night. They're so cute. But are KILLING my left foot.. I think it must still be a bit tender from when I fell on it. I refuse to let that stop me though, so I wore them again today. Who ever said comfort over style was on crack. As a result, I'm limping a little bit today. I figure another day or two and they'll stretch, or my foot will just have to suck it up.
Work was a disaster today. Went in to get my course material for the next week photocopied and stuff.. Whoever is in charge of ordering supplies did a wonderful job yet again. All the paper ordered was too big for the tray in the copier, so I got like one copy done.. I have 18 students I'm training, plus I need leaders guides for all the modules.. yay.
Tomorrow is supposed to be like 19 degrees. For all the shopping I've done, I haven't bought any new shorts or anything. At least there's a/c and all the comps in my class are flat screen, so they dont give off much heat. Today was a bad day all over. Unpleasant phone call, more unpleasant phone call with my mom, took a nap, woke up 5 hours later. Half an hour before Desperate Housewives. I ordered Pizza Mivan. And I must say, my french is improving a lot. The only part of my order she messed up on was the drinks. I ordered two diet 7Ups and got two cans of pepsi, no biggie.
I've decided to cut back on the drinking and partying. I don't do it back home, and while it's fun, it's starting to get old here too. This weekend coming is my last here, 9 days till I'm home thank god. I think I'll just keep a low profile, maybe go tanning. My new lavender dress shirt will look even better on me when im not so pale.
Oh! Something happened at the hotel today.. I was leaving to go in to work and noticed 4 police cars parked outside the hotel. Then an ambulance. They came out with this hard looking guy on stretcher, oxygen mask, followed by some equally hard looking bikers. The hells angels are apparently pretty big up here, they have a big clubhouse type thing in Lennoxville. Not sure what happened, but I'm gonna make it my mission to.
Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters were sooo good tonight! Now I have to wait another week. I want Marcia Cross to come back. Oh and I saw a commercial tonight about Shrek 3. The whole cast is doing some tv show. I didn't know Justin Timberlake was a voice in it. And now that he and Cameron Diaz are splits, should be an awkward show. OH and Jolene sent me a link today, Paris Hilton is going to jail :| 45 days. She looked really good in the pic they took of her leaving the courthouse. I'm sure they'll appeal and she'll get away with it.
