Tara was pretty cheerful as she waited for the boat. Somehow she'd never gone to the Isle of Ikea before, and her room could use some redecorating. She'd be looking for anything that might work for college, too.

"Ikea still sounds like a silly place to go," Loki announced. "Like the mart of walls. They smiled too much there in Broxton."

It was unnerving.

Tara smirked at him. "Wal-Mart was a big night out back where I came from," she announced. "Um. Where I come from is really, really boring."

"Broxton was as well." A beat. "Between the battles, that is."

Tara smiled again. "It'd be kind of weird if you thought it was boring during the battles ..."

"Oh no, there is much more running during that."

Tara flashed a smile. "I don;t blame you. I'm not big on fighty myself."

"Which is why you will survive where others will not."

Oh, Loki. Loki.

"That's the plan," Tara said, with a lazy smile. "Get to be, y'know, some wrinkly old witch sitting on a porch with iced tea and grandkids."

Dammit, Tara.

"You want grandchildren?" he asked curiously.

"Not like immediately," Tara said, properly horrified. "But ... yeah. I've always kind of figured I'd have kids when I grew up somehow. Why, did you -- older you -- have some?"

She wouldn't be shocked by a yes answer. As far as she could tell from myths, gods bred like rabbits.
