Hello friends.
I haven't written an all inclusive blog in a while so here we go. If there is anyone out there who's not on my F-list who would like to be please let me know because you are potentially missing a lot of bloggage!
Here's the word:
1. USEF has still not contacted me back, my hope (guess) is that the person in charge is out of town. If I do not hear anything back this week I will be calling next week, again. I don't want to miss out on the chance to be classified!
2. Hey, Catherine or Kayla... What level is a "Primary" dressage show in Canada? Ie: Is that the equivalent of a Schooling or Rated show here in the US? Just curious. :) Thanks!
3. Bad news: My car has been dead since saturday. I was getting blamed for the battery (accidentaly left my lights on) but it turns out that there are all kinds of problems with it. Right now it's getting a new starter, and probably alternator as well. Someone helped me try to jump it (by connecting to my battery wrong) on saturday when it died and we think that fried the starter as well as the solenoid. Either way the car now has a new battery and solenoid. It's entirely possible that it will also receive a new alternator and starter... oh boy. This isn't that big of a deal but it does make my week a bit different than I originally planned. Man, I can walk to where I need to go but I forgot how much energy it takes. I can't wait for my head to hit the pillow tonight.
Anyway I should be able to get my car back this weekend. I also will be able to borrow the van to go to SF to hang out with trainer which is exciting. I haven't seen her in a long time and I'm looking forward to it.
4. I am almost done with a scarf, believe it or not. I have to study for an Anatomy exam this weekend but I am hoping to finish the scarf as well as the Hero drawing (man I have been avoiding it, I'm sorry it just takes a bit more brain power than the mindless crocheting).
5. Life is good. Katie and Becca, what are your weekend's like? I would love to see both of you. Miss ya both.
