Ah, back in SLO. I find it odd that while yesterday (whilst still in Seattle) I was around in a t-shirt in 50 degree weather (and being perfectly comfortable while doing so), today I am shivering in my sweatshirt because it dipped below 65. How does that work?
I spent most of my break working on my bike project in the garage. It was..rather sucky, actually. But I got most of the welding I needed to do done...though I still have to do the trickiest parts.
I did ride Carnie though - for the first time since September! And I realized that this was the longest time I have ever gone without getting on a horse ever since I first started riding when I was 7. So I'm a bit sore.
Stuff to (hopefully) accomplish this week:
-Read "Love in the Time of Cholera" and "Jazz" for English (about 350 pages left to read)
-Finish HVAC hw (about 70% done with it - so maybe 3 hours left)
-Turn in HVAC final project (finished weeks ago, thank goodness!)
-Do Stress Analysis Lab (not even started/looked at - at least 15 hours to be put in on this one)
-Finish Stress Analysis hw's (about 6 hours?)
-DO BIKE PROJECT
-Weld rear traingle to truss
-Weld truss to seat tube (also need to grind/prepare seat tube for welding)
-Weld saddle rack to truss
-Grind off sharp edges
-Buy and install new brake cables (possibly gear shift cables if time) and chain
-Test and modify if needed
-If time, create cargo rack
-Report!!!!! (stress analysis, finite element analysis, ergonomic analysis, moment and shear diagrams, engineering specs, patterson control model, manufacturing)
Woooo school! Actually, I can't wait to start work/make money. And move into the apartment with Nicola. And buy my first gun. And own a truck. And and and...y'all get the picture. Its time for real life to begin.
