I lead a rather sad life at the moment.

I remember during my freshman orientation (and throughout freshman year) seeing all the 25-35 signs around (for non-Cal Polyians, its the "slogan" that you should be studying 25-35 hours a week outside class). I remember thinking, thats a lot of work.

I now laugh. If only it was only 25-35 hours a week. I'm taking 17 units his quarter (absolutely insane, I know) which means theoretically I should be spending 34 hours a week studying outside of class. Taking out labs (they aren't supposed to count labs, because a 3 hour lab is 1 unit, so it technically includes those hours) I should be spending 26 hours outside of class.  I calculated it, and I am spending something like 50 hours a week on school (not including class). I have an additional 21 hours of class a week. And that is not with a whole bunch of just studying for tests or anything. Those hours were logged working on senior project, labs, hw, etc. Stuff that HAS to get done.

I spent pretty much all of memorial day weekend at school in our little room in Bonderson Projects Hall. How insane is it, when I can't even find time to ride Carnie on the weekends.

I can't wait to work. I'll have money, and I'll be working less hours (I'm assuming I won't be working 71 hours a week, I may have to kill myself if I will be)

Test tomorrow in Electrical Engineering. Controls hw due tomorrow. Senior project expo poster done by Friday. Senior project and extra ramp due by Thursday of dead week. Final senior project report due Monday of finals week.

I have 2 lab finals and a regular final during dead week. I have three finals during finals week. 400 level ME classes and EE.

I think I need a break. But the worst is yet to come.
