I'm not sure what you're doing with all those extra question marks, but anyway...

Femslash (also known as femmeslash, girlslash, f/f slash, saffic) is a branch of fanfiction. Fanfiction involves taking characters from books, movies, TV shows, etc, and making up stories about them. (See http://www.fanfiction.net for fanfiction for various media, http://www.fictionalley.org for Harry Potter fanfiction...) If you were just writing about your own characters it wouldn't be fanfiction, so the term femslash wouldn't really apply, you'd just be writing lesbian fiction.

*lol* Sorry, I write poetry, and enjo punctuation play in which I add punctuation to emphasize exactly how I feel a particular moment. *lmao* Just becomes habit, and sometime I forget how annoying that can be to others that may not have read my work before.
