This captures a side of Ginny that I haven't seen explored before--her non-girly-girl-ness. Not that she's in any way unfeminine (whatever the hell that means), but yeah--she doesn't seem to play the typical teen girl games. It's one of the things that I love about the character, and one of the reasons the whole "Ginny is teh HO!" wank really bothered me.

Of course, Ginny's not a slut, and she's not a flirt.

But that doesn't mean that she doesn't get around. ;-)

And I love the way that you bring her together with Hermione so seemlessly and without drama--so like Ginny!

Oh, yes, the "Ginny has had more than one boyfriend ever! Clearly she is a vacuous tramp and not at all just a teenage girl with a bit of confidence!" attitude is quite irritating.
