(no subject)
well this weekend was pretty much wonderful. Friday night everybody went out except for me... but Ryan came over and hung out with me for a while and then amanda got here! YAY!
Saturday morning amanda and I it portobello road market and had a fabbbbulous time. I got black flats, a locket necklace, and some scarves. FUN. then Amanda and I met up with her friend Zoe and we got tickets to Sunday in the Park with George. oh yeah... 15 pound front row tickets... right. So then we had time to go have a nice lunch and go back to the theater. Sunday in the park wasnt reallllly my cup of tea (Im more of a show stoppin, tap dancing kinda gal) butttt amanda LOVED it so it was worth it.
After the show we came back to my flat and got ready, got a good dinner, and wentttt to Oxford.
Oxford was so much fun. Saturday night I got to hang out withh her friends and play my new favorite came, FLUXX. its awesome. you should defffffinitely go buy it. anyways.. then Sunday morning me, amanda, joey, and zoe all went on the bus tour of oxford which was pretty cool. then we got some lunch and went back to the college to play more fluxx. then before we knew it it was time for a question/answer session with Dereck Jacobi (really famous british actor). That was pretty interesting. Then we went out to dinner, played a little more fluxx, and it was time to leave.
So anyways I got back her last night and the first thing my roommate says to me is I WAS ROBBED. and I was like excuse me??Apparently sometime while I was in Oxford our room was broken into. Her labtop, cord, and bag were stolen. For some reason, my latop were not even touched. It doesn’t make sense at all. But its really scary because the only time the room was unlocked was when she was in the room sleeping. Ugh so creeeeeepy.
SO TODAY was pretty much great. We went to the British Library where I saw some original shakespeare stuff, an original magna carta, some lyrics written out from the beatles, and some other crazy things.
then JEN and I went to the aquarium which was totally cool and fun... then we went to see Guys and Dolls with Patrick Swazey! YAY! the show was good.. esp for 15 pounds. and to put the cherry on top I SHOOK PATRICK SWAZEYS hand. yes ladies and gentlemen... I totalllllly shook his hand. I waited for 45 minutes with 75 other people in the rain and I got to take pics and a few lucky people in the front got to shake his hand (me included)
