April challenges: fool and savior

The March challenge amnesty is now over. We have new challenges!

Our April challenges are: fool and savior.

Today is April Fool's Day! What kind of jokes have you seen played? What kind of prank could you see Harry pulling? Or Bob? Can you imagine someone pulling something on Morgan or Ancient Mai or even Michael? The bad guys, too, might get into the act -- I shudder to think of what a vampire or other sadistic type would come up with as a "joke."

In Tarot, The Fool symbolizes a childlike spirit in search of experience. The Major Arcana of the Tarot are often interpreted as the Fool's journey through life.

You know the saying: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Who is doing the fooling, and who is being fooled?

Fool's gold, fool for love, foolproof plans... Don't be fooled into thinking there aren't a lot of options for this one!

The second challenge of the month, savior, is obviously inspired by the fact that Easter is this month (April 12). For Christians, Easter celebrates the death and resurrection of Christ, the savior. One can imagine this is a sacred time for Michael. How do he and his family celebrate the holiday? What about the rest of the characters?

On the other hand, you could take "savior" in a more immediate sense. All of our good guys are pretty good at saving people. How do the people they save see them? Or what about when they themselves need saving...?

You have all of April to write and post your fics! As always, I will post reminders throughout the month.

Suggestions for future challenges? Comment here or on any admin post!
