PLEASE READ...Community Business
While we're waiting for Friday to roll around I thought I'd take a minute to update you all on some community business and let you know about some other items that may interest you.
First...Tonight on the SciFi Channel there is a "Dresden Files" mini marathon. So if you've missed any of the episodes tonight is your chance to catch up.
I am in desperate need of volunteers to help me out with a few things around the community. So far goddess_naunett has kindly offered her services as a Co-Moderator and a Banner Maker. I would just like to say thank you to her again for offering to help out. You're a gem goddess_naunett. :)
I still need at least one more Co-Moderator. This is very light work. I would only ask you to fill in for me once in a blue moon. And as a bonus you get to pick a "Co-Mod's Choice" icon in the challenges when there are enough icons entered. If you are interested please post a comment in the Co_Moderators needed entry. This position is filled. Thanks so much. :)
This one is very important. I am looking for people to make banners for the winning icon makers. Again it's very light work. I would only ask you to make banners once a month if that often. The more people volunteering for this the better. And I could really really use your help. If you are interested please post a comment in the Banner Makers needed entry
Interested in making some advertising buttons for the community? Go to the Advertising Buttons entry and check out the guidelines. Make your buttons and post them in a comment to that entry.
If you have a Dresden Files related community and are interested in affiliating with dresden_stills please post a comment in the Affiliation Request entry. Only communities related to the Dresden Files TV series and books please.
I am going to put up a seperate entry for you guys so that you can give me feedback. I'll post it after the first challenge is over. I just want to get your thoughts on what you think of the community, ideas for challenges, things I could do differently, etc. Anything basically.
Don't forget, there is still time to enter icons in Challenge 1. Entries are due Friday evening.
