Sick Day
So on Saturday, we went ice skating with Brendan and Jill. Brendan has mono, and Jill has a cold. Guess what happened next?
Yep, that's right. Felt slightly tired/run down Sunday and Monday (did not work out, but that's also due to the MD/North Carolina Mens Basketball game)
and really started to feel bad Tuesday. I couldn't get to bed for like five hours last night, tossing and turning and not being able to breathe out my nose due to its stuffiness. And I would just start to nod off when a wracking cough or sneeze would start and I'd be wide awake. I'm hoping I got Jill's cold and not Brendan's mono...although Jill's cold could actually be Brendan's mono since they swap spit on the regular. Jill has a doc appt soon, so let's hope for the best!
So I called in sick this morning, sent Ted out for Nyquil and Dayquil, and watched The People's Court, Maury, Judge Joe Brown Judge Judge and assorted other tv in a semi-vegitative state.
Ted came home early for me (love the boy) and is now out fetching me tomato soup and Lucky charms.
I have a dentist appt. tomorrow but no work, so I should be fine for Fri's 7a-3p shift. Workout sessions are on hold until I can breathe again, and since I'll be in FL next week for a business trip, I will probably go hard on the hotel exercise equipment to assuage my guilt.
