I am the worst LJ poster ever. My average is twice a year, or something.
Just worked out for the second day in a row after being encouraged by
ipso--facto and
allichan .
I feel very good, and made a deal with Lah to be pseudo workout buddies. I have to work out when she does, at least a 3:5 ration a week.
Since I can't lie to her, I'll actually have to do it.
Is it ok to just do elliptical and recumbent bike? I was a catcher in grade school, middle school, and high school, did varsity basketball and cross country, and 10 years later, my knees hate any hard impact. I can run for a while, but they inevitably tighten up.
Is it impactful to do cardio with no treadmill?
I will start the weights on Monday, I think. I've always loved lifting.
Reading all the (good) Office and (good) Bones fanfic I can get my hands on. Not much of the latter.
TV Shows I am woefully behind on and will have to torrent/watch most likely in summer.
Greys Anatomy- Last episode watched- Season 2, ep 5? The one where the redhead admits to the mean patient that she cheated, not Patrick Dempsey, so she needs to stop being a witch to Meredith. Yeah, that one, from like a year ago.
Battlestar Galactica- Entire 3rd season. I'm scared start, cuz the end of Season 2 was so awesomely awesome, yet so horribly sad. I'm sensitive. Plus, I hear that Starbucks mind got messed with in the beginning.
Heroes- I'm 2 episodes behind, which is not woeful. Actually, this is sort of on purpose, because I always get pissed at the end because it, well, ends! So now I try to watch 3-4 episodes immediately after each other so I have some sort of enjoyment. At least 3 cliffhangers will be resolved, unlike when I watch just one episode and freak out because they end at the worst possible part for my nerves to take.
My TV Schedule (with the assistance of Comcast DVR) just cuz I want to document it :)
Monday Heroes, 24
Tuesday American Idol
Wed American Idol, Bones
Thur My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs, 30 Rock
Fri Occaisonally, Nanny 911, usually nothing. Watch other DVR'ed things.
Sat Cops, Saturday Night Live (if not going out)
Sun Battlestar Galactica
Married over 6 months, and I've decided to keep Teddy. Especially since winter has finally hit, and he's a frickin' furnace at night. Will reevaluate my decision in the spring.
Valentine's was great. Got roses, suprise movie tix to Music and Lyrics (cute, but predictable),
dinner at J Gilberts in Mclean, VA, and most importantly....Ferrero Rocher bon-bons. :)
