I love my life!
Last week, Carlyn got married. It was a little emotional. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little, or a lot, jealous of her new friends. However, in the end, it was amazing to be a party of her wedding. She and Gary were so happy, and I feel priveleged to have been a part of it.
So, that got me thinking, that I really need to put myself out there more with my friends here. I'm embarassed to call and ask people to hang out. This week, I made a point of inviting the whole group to see a movie on Thursday night (before my week long on call started). A bunch of us went to see Elizabeth town, which led to a heart to heart with Miguel. I love Miguel. Friday night, the first night of my on call, I went to Roger's for a DDR showdown and to watch them all drink their little hearts out. Tonight, Miguel, Rod and Roger took me out to a Latin dance club. I can't dance for shit, but I had a blast.
I was in a bit of a rut, feeling a bit lonely, but things are so much better now!
