I have the best friend ever!!
So, not too much has been going on since the last post. As far as my drinking escapades go, I went to the cheesecake factory and got an appletini, but it wasn't all that great. I think they put rum in it or something. Oh well. Oh, and I bought myself some grey goose, which came with a grey goose martini glass! Expensive, but well worth it. The plastic one I got at the ball probably won't cut it for too much longer, although the plastic one lights up and changes colors!
Not too much has been going on at home. I didn't get any official hours the entire vacation from McDonald's. It's time to quit that place. Hopefully I can find an internship to work at over the summer? A Tuesday or two ago, I got to have dinner at Subway with Nancy, and we exchanged Christmas gifts. I miss Nancy, cause she's one of my good and really nice friends that I hardly get to see. Also, I got to hang out with Erika, which is always great! We listened to the Justin Timberlake cd (the new one), and we visited some teachers up at the high school. Mr. Murphy is an assistant principal now! That's good for whoever has him for an assistant principal, but it sucks because his history class was one of the best classes that I've ever had. Then we had chicken sandwiches and chips with salsa, and played a card game I'll be sure to bring to Assumption. I'm sure I'll find someone who hasn't heard of it :-p
Also got to hang out with Justin a few times. He's doing pretty well after college, and is now fully employed somewhere that isn't McDonald's, and it's somewhere that's treating him as a valued individual. He deserves it, after the last few years after Sara left.
So, I can't wait to get back to Assumption. In just a week, I'll be maxin' and relaxin' with my roommates, and I know that I'll love my classes. Three histories with some of the best professors in our department, an English writing class with another great teacher, and a theology with a professor I don't know. Also, Fridays, I'll be starting my weekends at 9:20am! Also, I plan on hanging out with a lot of my friends a lot more than I have been. Amanda and I have a deal going on. I'll teach her chess, and she'll teach me to ice skate! Also, a couple of my good friends, such as Mark Mouded, are graduating at the end of this semester. We have a few classes together, so gotta make the best of them. Overall, this semester ought to be great ^_^
Oh and btw, I found someone who makes me really happy, and someone who is always there for me. I would do anything for her, as she would for me. The funny thing is, we're just best friends, which is good enough for me. All I gotta do now is find a girl with her qualities, and I'm set for life!
