Why, yes. I did just fix the toilet flapper with a glow-in-the-dark cable tie. The glow-in-the-dark part is critical, of course*. Mind you, I have no idea why my stash of cable ties glow-in-the-dark (menopause has pretty much knocked out my mid-term memory) but I'm sure it made sense at the time.
*I ALMOST managed to convince The Boy of this but he was wise to me. Said he was sure that the fluorescent orange ones would only last half as long... smart ass!
