So, the Tory Government is planning to ban British citizens from marrying non-EU foreigners unless the British person in question earns more than £25,700 a year.
Presumably the person in government whose job it is to screen potential policies for signs of unswerving evil has been made redundant, or is simply so overworked by this point that they can only read bits of each policy through the gaps in their fingers as they cradle their head in their hands, sobbing.
Then, of course, if the alien in question happened to be Russian, the poor sods wouldn't even be able to celebrate their wedding in Russia as it would be classified as an unlawful gathering, and they would have to have substantial savings to pay the fine.
