Top Ten Noaire Moments That Made Me Gasp In Pleasure
So I'm basically trying to create a tradition of posting a Noaire entry (at least a Heroes one) on January 1 every year. Well, I did that last year, so here I go again! :D
"Pleasure" does not necessaily mean happiness perviness, but most of the time, it does. This is actually me trying to celebrate one of my all time fav couples OTPs. Choosing the top ten moments was hard, treacherous work because I realized they really shared a good amount of screen time and these moments were all pretty much....unf. I have a feeling I'll have different kinds of top five-ten Noaire moments in the future. We shall see. Anyways, here's my list (totally not in any kind of order) :
Clairebear's getting a new teddy bear! :D A strawberry teddy bear! I love strawberries! Off the cuteness chart! :D It's amazing how this scene starts with a creepy moment (HRG watches Clairebear totally in a creepy disturbingly sexy way as she practises her awesome cheerleading moves in front of a mirror) and then turns into one of the cutest moments in Heroes. I guess this is what Noaire is about. I also love how they analyze the teddy bear....And the "D'awwwww" sound HRG makes....Bah......I want to squish things. Preferably a teddy bear! UNF.
OMFG A Paper Emergency!!! I love love LOVE this scene even though I thought he was totally faking it...Now we all know it was all real..... *siiiiigh* Look at those faces...Schmoopiness FTW! I have special love for Clairebear's outfit and the way she was clueless...Also, the Eden/HRG/Clairebear moment deserves a special mention because of the delicious awkwardness.
Well, this is main the scene (I think) that made a molester at least for some fans. D: (Mr Coleman was asked that question, don't blame me!) But I blame the directing, Clairebear's smile and the editing. Poor HRG was only worried but he looked like he was thinking other things...Everything was totally deliberate! It's never fans' fault! D:
ARGH ARGH ARRRRRGGGGHHH. This whole episode omfg. HRG's glasses is one of the reasons why he looks badass and creepy and in this scene we find out that Clairebear was the one who chose them for her daddy...IT'S POETIC, IRONIC OR WHATEVER , IF YOU ASK ME. Nothing to perv on here honestly, especially after hearing the "You didn't grow inside your mother, you grew inside our hearts" line from HRG. I want to bawl hard from now until eternity. I also love the fact that Mr Coleman was the one who gave the idea for the scene! :D
ARGH.This scene...I will never not cry whenever I hear him say "Turn around, cover your ears" And yes, it still makes me gasp in pleasure, not gonna lie. I know it shouldn't have, but I love it when my OTP suffers in a romatic way! :D ....what.
Oh my, what an episode...Sacrifice is what makes an OTP sexy. It is an amazing episode all around, there are Clairebear/HRG huggages, HRG sacrifices himself for Clairebear, Momo shoots HRG's glasses and in the end, we get a glimpse of naked!zombie!HRG chest. Win, win and win.
I don't have any words for this moment...Well, I actually have many, but I'm not sure if I should be saying them out loud...I knew I was going to rewatch this over and over again as soon as I first watched it. The anger, the distrust, the hurt...the sexiest dysfunctional relationship ever....Clairebear is angry because HRG never bagged and tagged her like he did other people. Well, here's your turn, Clairebear. I don't know why but I still feel like this whole scene is very Star Wars-y except these two are definitely hotter than Yoda.
Ughhh my heart is melting again!!! :D This is a typical Heroes moment for HRG and Clairebear. In the first episodes of every season, everything is peachy for them and then all hell breaks loose. Season 4 is no exception and we got this beautiful smoochy, squishable and shippable moment of them. They are in Clairebear's dorm room and sitting on her bed. Oh, so many fics could have been written. Look at their expressions omfg. I'm not imagining things, okay??? Also, I love his hair so much.
Yet another moment which made me go; "OMG IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING???". I kind of want to let the screencaps speak for themselves but allow me to say this one thing: "JJKHJHKHJKKJKKKKKKKKKHHHHJJJJJ!!!11" Yep, I would watch this one daily if I didn't think that would be awkward. They are both crying and declaring their love to each other while touching each other's faces...I'll say it again: I'm not imagining things, okay??? Let's not also forget that this scene ends up with HRG getting wet. A Quadruple Win!!!!!
This scene is seriously, totally a huge fav of mine not only because it was sexy (Clairebear in a cheerleader uniform, kissing and stuff...argh shippines ahoy!), but also because of this:
Jack Coleman: "I have a general rule of thumb: Americans shouldn't do Shakespeare and Brits shouldn't say dude. Exceptions can be made, but used as a guideline, it holds up pretty well." (Source)
So, what happens in this scene? Well, HRG cites Shakespeare for Clairebear...How romantic is this???? I also love how HRG checks around as if he's trying to make sure no one is watching them...Overall, it's a really cute scene.
