...Today I voted in the municipal election. I voted for the same party, leftist Republican People's Party. I never voted for any other party in my voting life. I wanna know how winning feels like for a change, LOL! There is a very close race this year for the city's top job. I think I'll be dancing in the streets if my candidate wins, because it ( Read more... )

Believe me, he's not. You read his blog entries? This man wouldn't vote for McCain. I think there is a huge misunderstanding here.

Just read this, this is from his blog:

"The Election: Like many people, I have been obsessed with the election. It will shock you to know that Heroes is a largely liberal set. I know, what are the chances? In Hollywood?! The good thing about that, if you happen to be liberal, is that we all could celebrate together. The crew worked through lunch so they could be out by 8 PM PST. That was when the polls closed on the west coast and when the election was called for Barack Obama. (Microsoft Word just underlined Barack Obama, not recognizing the name. I wonder how long before that will change.)

Regardless of how you feel about the election, I don't know how anyone could fail to be stirred by the sight of the Obama family up on that stage in Chicago; of people cheering and weeping for joy the whole world over. I don't know how anyone could fail to be moved by the genius of our political system, the peaceful transfer of power in a country of 350 million people with real and serious divisions. And most of all, how could anyone not be moved by the idea that we as a country could overcome our original sin and elect an African-American president for the simple reason that he was the best candidate?

One final thought: at the Republican National Convention we heard a lot of disparaging remarks about community organizing. But it was exactly that community organizing that secured Obama's victory. Block by block, precinct by precinct, one $50 contribution at a time, this was a presidential campaign that will be studied and imitated for years to come.

Enough liberal Hollywood politics. I apologize to all those who do not share my views and tune in here for show biz, not politics. But this is a once in a lifetime milestone and I couldn't ignore it. Besides, this is Hollywood. You were expecting maybe the John Birch Society?"

Where does "the McCain vote" rumour come from? That´s quite unbelievable, really.

oh lord. I don't really care that much about who people vote for. Yay for Obama supporters, but honestly, i just don't get the chance to use my Yes We Can icon enough anymore.

I forgot how hard it is to be tongue in cheek via the written word. Besides, my original response was that Noah and Nathan were RAGING republicans. :p Then i deleted it because again, tongue in cheekiness doesn't translate across my keyboard.

LOL, well, at least you had a reason to use that icon! :D

And we all know that HRG and especially Nathan are hardcore Republicans...LOL, right? :D
Well, if I was Jack, I wouldn't want be to known as a Republican, because you know, most of the Hollywood are liberals, so....P

LOL, and the worst part is, I think I totally forgot entity22 was joking there... LOLOL!
