I don't know what it is, whether it's the fact that I haven't had time to read it in the last 10 weeks, whether it's the fact that I really need a good laugh at the moment, or whether it's just a really amazing issue... but I really feel like I forgot how amazingly hilarious Newsweek can be. So hilarious, in fact, that I feel the need to write as such, despite the fact that I just wrote about how angry I am at my probable and significant failure.
Points of interest:
-the new "trend" of taking the ashes of loved ones and putting them in a colorful paperweight.
-"there's only three things he says in a sentence: a noun, a verb and 9/11"- Sen. Joe Biden on Rudy Giuliani (personal admission: I have no idea how accurate this statement is... but come on, it's funny)
-"Our Dumb World: Atlas of the Planet Earth" I want it, because frankly, it sounds like possibly the only set of maps that might ever help me learn anything about geography.
-"Putting Faith in a 'Black Chick From Brooklyn'" okay, so I haven't read this article yet, but I REALLY want to.
...and I'm only 30 pages into the issue.
