Allow me to pout for a moment. (OK, three moments. Ish.)
I love thunderstorms. Love 'em. However, I love them MORE when I'm reading in bed, preferably with a cuppa, listening to the patter of rain on the roof. Thunderstorms are less exihilarating when they make going to the carnival rather difficult. Nay, unreasonable.
(I just said 'nay'. Migod.)
It always kind of happens where I sit around for a few days, not doing much, and then suddenly, all the plans happen at once. And get cancelled. By something I ordinarily love. Which is pretty conflicting. Because the worst thing, is when there is something you love but it's ruining things, therefore cancelling out the other thing you love, and you can't love either of them due to extenuating circumstances. And yes, I realize that's pretty damn melodramatic seeing as I'm talking about thunderstorms and carnivals. But it's thundering! Therefore I have an excuse to be melodramatic, beyond my naturally occuring and annoying disposition.
The point is, Tuesday and Wednesday I did nothing. It was pretty, well, not depressing, but a rather ominous start to a summer. What if the whole summer would be like that, the little voice asked. But of course, I managed to make plans for Thursday so all was good. Then I had to work. So nevermind. But then I managed to make plans for Friday-day, so all was good. Then it stormed.
WHY THE FUCK COULDN'T YOU STORM A FEW DAYS AGO?
OMG SRSLY.
HATEYOU.

Fuck, I need a life. Steph, you're 36 minutes late. I'm bored. Get over here before I rant any longer on the internet. Next thing you know I'll complain about... er.. waiting for toast to pop. (How many minutes in a lifetime does the average person [middle class developed-country person {which I realize is not average, :. I am ignorant {{but at least I'm aware}} } who eats toast] spend waiting for toast to pop?)
Sigh.
