OOC: Yet another plot post
It's that time again!
For the next week there will be an increase in aggressive rats, cats and bunnies--the normally killer animals have become downright rabid.
Fortunately they're still beatable even by a normal human with a shovel, but there's a catch. It seems like getting bitten, or even having skin contact with the animal's blood, produces a 24 hour fever. It's nonfatal, but moderate to severe in symptoms. There are no other side affects from contact with the animals, but you probably don't want to try to eat them.
The week after their increase, they will start to become fairly rare, and by the end of the second week they'll be gone.
That means anyone can feel free to have your characters notice the increased aggressiveness in the animals. Likewise if you want to say one of your characters was bitten or came into contact with the blood, feel free! This is open to all to react to, notice, or be affected by.

Oh! And I forgot to add: If your character would be immune to demonic taint (whether from demonic origins themself or holy protection) then they may be immune to the affects if you wish them to be.
